Bella Loves Patterns Lisa Bodysuit and Top

Buy the Lisa Bodysuit and Top sewing pattern from Bella Loves Patterns. Lisa is a knit bodysuit and top that features a wide, off-the-shoulder piece which starts at the centre back and wraps around to the front, where a low V-neckline is created by a twist at the centre front with gathering at the side seams.

The internal shelf bra and the leg openings of the bodysuit are finished with topstitched elastic. The crotch of the bodysuit is closed with press-on snaps, and the bottom hem of the top is folded and topstitched.

Sewing level: Intermediate

This sewing pattern is available to buy in the following formats:

– PDF (available to download immediately after purchase). What is a PDF?

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

Suggested fabrics: Lisa is designed for lightweight knit fabrics with four-way stretch,
good recovery and drape. Fabrics like bamboo jersey, viscose jersey, and cotton jersey are recommended. The chosen material must contain elastane or lycra in its composition. Avoid low stretch materials and rib knits.

The samples are made in knit fabric (92% viscose + 8% elastane).

Fabric requirements:

Height Group 1: 140 cm (55") wide fabric: View A Bodysuit, 1.1 - 1.7 m (1.2 - 1.9 yd) // View B Top, 1 - 1.5 m (1.1 - 1.7 yd).

Height Group 2: 140 cm (55") wide fabric: View A Bodysuit, 1.1 - 1.7 m (1.2 - 1.9 yd) // View B Top, 1 - 1.5 m (1.1 - 1.7 yd).

Sizing: UK 6 – 22 (approx. UK 6/8 – 18/20, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

This pattern is drafted to fit a B cup size and has two height options:

Height Group 1: 160 cm (5'3")
Height Group 2: 170 cm (5'7")

Select the closest height to your body. Both groups have the same width around the body – the only difference is in the length. If you are outside these height groups, you may need to alter the pattern length.
