Ready to Sew Partner Overalls

Buy the Partner Overalls sewing pattern from Ready to Sew. The Partner Overalls are inspired by workwear like carpenter pants and gardening overalls. They are straight-legged with an adjustable cinch tie at the waist. The pattern has four patch pockets, including a large pocket that wraps around to the back. The hem is drafted to be full length, but looks stylish when rolled above the ankle as well. These overalls are practical, comfortable and designed to last. The overalls' ease at the waist allows them to be put on without any buttons or zippers.

The drafting for size ranges 1 and 2 is different. The overalls for range 2 have a chest dart and two front waist darts as well as a slightly rounder centre front to accommodate a larger midsection.

Suggested fabrics:

Outer fabric: Bottom-weight woven fabric such as denim, twill, canvas, gabardine, moleskin, medium weight linen. For range 2, the designer recommends a fabric with 3%-6% elastane.

Facing: Medium-weight woven fabric such as shirting, chambray or cotton poplin.

Fabric requirements:

Range 1 (sizes 32-46): 140 cm (54″) wide fabric: Outer fabric, 300 cm (118 1/8″) // Facing, 55 cm (21 5/8″).

Range 2 (sizes 46-58): 140 cm (54″) wide fabric: Outer fabric, 380 cm (149 5/8″) // Facing, 115 cm (45 1/4″).

Sizing: EU 32 – 46 and EU 46 – 58 (approx. UK 6/8 – 14/16 and UK 18 – 30, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer's size chart.

Note: The size ranges have been drafted from different blocks. Range 1 (32-46) is based on a height of 167 cm and a B cup. Range 2 (46-58) is based on a height of 168 cm and a D cup.

Notions: Drawstring cord, 5 mm (3/16") diameter; 2 metal eyelets, 5 mm (3/16") internal diameter; one pair of 4 cm (1.5”) overall buckles and buttons; one pair of 4 cm (1.5”) adjustable sliders; 16 cm (6 5/16") of 4 cm (1.5”) wide elastic; 2 cord ends; matching thread and contrasting thread.
