Buy the Hanbok Top and Jacket sewing pattern from Sewing Therapy. Traditional hanbok elegance meets modern proportions and ease of wear. Suggested fabrics:
Top: Light to medium weight woven fabrics, including linen, cotton, and silk. Avoid fabrics that are excessively stiff or heavy.
Jacket: Heavier fabrics such as wool, denim, corduroy, bouclé, and tweed.
Fabric requirements: 56" (142 cm) wide fabric: 1.5 - 2 yd (1.4 - 1.8 m).
Sizing: XS – 3XL (approx. UK 6 – 28, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.
The length is designed to hit around the upper hip on someone who is 5'4" (163 cm) tall.
Notions: 0.5 yd/m of lightweight fusible interfacing; two 12" (30.5 cm) cotton ribbons for inner tie (or use fabric and pattern piece).
